We still can't quite believe it — our first ever RFF Weekend is officially in the books, and it exceeded every hope we had for it. Three days, three events, and a community that showed up in the biggest way. Here's the recap.
Friday: VIP Tip Off Night
Presented by Treadwell Mansion
We kicked things off Friday night on the rooftop at Treadwell Mansion — light bites, cocktails, good music, and a room full of the people who made this whole weekend possible. This night was all about gratitude. Before a single game was played or a single kid stepped on the court, we wanted to pause and celebrate the sponsors, partners, and friends who believed in this vision from the very beginning. If you were there, thank you for kicking off the weekend with us in style.
Saturday: The Eli Robinson "EV3" Tournament
Presented by JetBlue
Saturday brought the energy. 20 teams. FIBA-style 3v3. Fast-paced, competitive, and played in honor of Eli Robinson. Watching the courts fill up with players giving it everything they had — while knowing exactly why we were all there — made this so much more than a basketball tournament. It was a celebration of Eli's memory and everything this foundation stands for.
Sunday: The Duncan Robinson Basketball Clinic
Presented by Lark Hotels
Sunday was five years in the making — literally. This was the 5th year we've held the clinic, and the first time it's ever been an official RFF event. Over 150 5th–12th graders came out to spend the morning learning from Duncan and some of the coaches and friends who have shaped his own basketball journey. Seeing that many kids on the court, soaking it all in, was the perfect way to close out the weekend.
The Impact
Here's the number that makes all of it worth it: we raised over $170,000.
And we didn't wait to put it to work. We immediately awarded $100,000 in grants to 5 local mental health-focused nonprofits doing incredible work in the Seacoast community:
Finally, to our media partners who captured every moment of the weekend — Madly Creative and Aaron James — thank you for making sure this weekend lives on far beyond the weekend itself.
To everyone who played, coached, volunteered, sponsored, and showed up — thank you for making the first annual RFF Weekend one we'll never forget. Can't wait to see you next year!
Heart, mind, and body — this is exactly why RFF exists, and this weekend proved what's possible when a community rallies around it.
